Recently I stumbled into a new webpage, making using and learning TeX more comfortable:


Basically the page gives you the opportunity to decide whether to design a regular paper or a presentation. In both cases you are going to be redirected to a new page showing you the TeX syntax on the left side of your screen and the results on demand on your right screen sight.

Once you joined the page you can play around with the TeX syntax. As a beginner you will directly get an impression how a quite complete TeX syntax looks like. Furthermore, you can copy paste the syntax into your desktop TeX distribution. As such the webpage seems to be the logically following step after having done the first steps as outlined in my blog:
